I want to use my Xbox from my brother's Xbox actually but I played the game on that first save. Now because I invested a lot of time on Survival mode, and now I would not be able to play on his Xbox , so I want to transfer my save.

The problem is that I would be playing this game at my home on PC, so how would I get that save from the Xbox ? Just from some light research around Google, this seems to be impossible to do, at least for Rise of the Tomb Raider. The likely has a proprietary format that it saves in for that console, which is different than how the game would save on a PC. This post on the Steam forums references the Xbox One version, which would likely be more in line with how a PC saves games, yet it's still not a likely possibility.

One solution that might work is a program called Modio. I used it about a year ago to transfer my Skyrim save from my Xbox to my PC. If I remember correctly, you will need an empty flash drive because you will need to convert at least part of its storage into the format the Xbox uses. Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I have a game that I have literally invested thousands upon thousands of hours over that keeps getting corrupted Dungeon Defenders.

I'm not talking about transferring the whole game, just the save. It's criminal that I have to suffer after being a loyal customer for years. What Maxen has said is nothing but true. It's more of a safety issue than anything. Programs like Modio act like viruses. All it takes is one slip, and you could potentially be looking at a profile ban, or even worse, a console ban.

It's really not worth the risk. It's what I've been doing for some time now. My original issue was with TES:V. Game data corrupting because of a faulty game. Additionally, have you tried uninstalling the game, clearing your system cache, rebooting, then reinstalling it? Is there a way to change the series X file to a format?

I couldn't find one during my research, but if there is one then it should solve my problem I think — KevinKorani. Add a comment. Active Oldest Votes. KevinKorani is a new contributor.
