Please suggest, could it be because there was no account password Microsoft or Local setup on the pc? It came with Windows 7 originally and so I never setup a login password.

The keyboard seemed to work, because I could hit the space bar or shift key to unlock the computer from the first screen with the time on it. Default browser is google chrome.
